Last 2 days events

Yesterday was a busy day starting with our VBS at 8am, then lunch, work projects and we even got to fit in an hour swim at the pool. So refreshing. The weather has been gorgeous the last couple of days so we have been able to get a lot of work accomplished in the afternoons. Here are some pictures of our progress...

Last night we also had the opportunity to go to some families homes for dinner. We split into 4 groups and were each picked up by a family to go to their house for dinner. It was a great experience and the food was amazing. This is the family that we went to with Derek and Jenna S.

Today was our last day of VBS :( Our youth and the campers shed some tears as we said goodbye. We have our translators back tonight for a bon fire. It has not rained all day today, so we are excited to spend some time around the camp fire with them.

Tomorrow we are off to the community of Balibrea for a morning VBS. We are going to serve them lunch and spend some time with the families, then take the afternoon and evening to play some sports, and watch a talent show in Spanish at one of the churches close by.

Praise:
Great week of VBS with the kids
Sun is shining and it`s hot
John`s lips are getting better everyday
Great time with our host families for dinner last night

Prayer:
Safety as we travel to Balibrea tomorrow
Our time there would be very life changing for our team and for the families we`ll be serving
We would have a relaxing time off tomorrow evening

These three children are from an orphanage nearby
