Today we had our first rain fall. It came in spirts, but when it came, it rained hard! Our house has a tin roof, similar to our trailer at home, but the house we are in is spacious and has a large peaked roof so it was very loud and hard to hear the other person talk. Today was cool and windy. Actually the funny thing is it has been cooler here than in SK!!!
Here is our view from our house.
This was our view when we were landing in San Pedro, Sula. Absoulutely gorgeous. Just breath taking.
This was our landing into Miami. It is a huge state!
Bob and Jody, this picture is for you. We've heard you talk about Walgreens, so we just had to take this pic. This was taken in Minneapolis.
On our layover night in Minneapolis we went to Walmart after dinner at Denny's to buy some snacks. We bought all this for $5 US. William is holding up his $5 CAN. bill!

Today we met Will's field ed supervisor and his wife, Patrick and Debbie O'conner. They are very friendly and are looking forward to taking us to different parts of Honduras to do some ministry opportunities. One would be going up to the mountains about a 4 hour drive from here for 5 days to a rural oasis area to evangelize with another team of about 11 and maybe even do a festival/family day type idea. Right up our alley! Also William will probably get to do some prisin ministry with Patrick as well.
Tomorrow we start our first day of camp. 50 campers will arrive in the afternoon and stay until Sunday afternoon. William will speak Thursday, Friday, Saturday night and Sunday afternoon. He will also be leading the worship. I will be running the sign-in tomorrow as well as the volleyball activities.
So we are excited to be a part of these kids lives. Some are Christians, but the majority of them probably are not. I hope to be able to brush up on my Spanish skills these next few days.
We'll blog again after camp is over with some more pics.

Now do you believe us when we talk about how some things are less expensive in America? and how much we enjoy Walgreens? Did they let you on the plane with the applesauce? Wasn't that in the "forbidden" display at the airport? We are all missing you but excited about what is ahead in the next couple weeks. They will go fast. We love you!!!! (Jody)
